My First Of 2013....

Indeed! No doubt their cousins have been out and about elsewhere...They've been eager to unfurl for the past few days.....
Yesterday they began to emerge!!!! Sunshine, today, set the perfect scene for their appearance....
Here are my first 'takes' of 'Season 2013'.....
To be sure, there will be many more appearances...of them and their ilk....

We don't have crocuses yet, but the daffs are coming through. Lovely colour in the 2nd picture.

Very lovely, three cheers for Spring! La, I guess your winter is over. I looked at the flower garden today and nothing excepting tips of iris leaves showed. February 15th is far too early here for daffodils and the like anyway, but the black-capped Chickadees were too delightful, actively chirping morning and afternoon. Paired with welcome golden sunniness it was too sweet. Thanks for sharing, the sight is heartening and so cheerfully bright.
